I set up this blog to contribute to the following crusades:

  1. The weight loss crusade;
  2. The shed that fat crusade and;
  3. The weight watchers crusade
Now these crusades are what you and I see, talk, read and, hear every day. It's on your tv, your local newspaper and magazines, and all over the internet (like this very one that you are reading right now). And it has not seized it's frenzy since it became a serious topic since the 1980's.

Having been overweight myself,

I can feel a certain empathy to all those out there who find it difficult to loose weight so, I am not goimng to bore you with all the stories and reasons why you should loose weight.

You know why you should loose weight. If you didn't know, you wouldn't be reading this blog.

What I intend to do through this blog is to help you:

  • Diet and eat properly (so that you don't gain weight in the first place)
  • Provide you with tools that will help you measure your progress
  • Advice you on natural ways to shed fat from your body
  • And if all the above fails, suggest safe surgical proceedures that can help your weight loss quest
I am going to post about the popular methods of weight loss and the least talked about. Mind you, they all must have a positive effect in our quest to rid the world of fat. I will be helping to burn calories, change lives, build confidence and, making lives happy and fulfilled. For this I will be needing your help, your comments.

It's not easy to loose weight, speaking from experience it's very difficult. Worse even than stopping a habit like smoking. Sometimes when you really try and at the of the day you climb the scale and all that effort came to nothing. I realized that I wasn't alone and, even though I manged to do it alone (well almost) there are others who need help to accomplish this difficult mission.

We need to help and to act now. I am contributing what I can to the 'cause', why don't you do the same?
